It’s so odd, but in the last two weeks, two of my friends have mentioned colouring. I caught your twitter comment the other day, and meant to reply, but 140 characters just wouldn’t do it justice.
So few people understand how truly stress relieving colouring can be. That and blowing bubbles, splashing puddles… all of that stuff was FUN at one time or another, and so why shouldn’t it be now?
That said, I’m horrible at drawing… actual drawing… so me submitting a drawing would be… not a pretty sight. Forming images with words, I’m good at, drawing on the other hand – I never studied it, never showed an aptitude for it, and I wish I had that ability!!! ;o) But, I love to colour….

I think I’m declaring every Monday a day of color. It is the most relaxing way to start the week. But I’ll splash in puddles on any given rainy day… which may be this whole weekend, unfortunately or fortunately.

i have a big old beach house in rockaway beach, queens that is actually being painted for the first time in too long and the color has transformed not only the house, but all of us crashing around inside of it.
color is amazing!
can you tell me what the best way is to send you a colored sketch? very low tech here…..
